This dept. is considered as one of technical department the technical sections in the company, which provides technical advice on stores materials (inventory) for all departments in the company to support the productivity  operation .This dept. was directly associated with General-director office .due to the  reduction which was happened in the company during the Iran-Iraq war. It  was merged as section in  with the Stores control Dept.  Materials management, and the expansion g which  occurring in  the company at the present time , the department  independent department in the materials management .

The basic role for the materials management is adjoined Provide the necessary materials for the production operation, coordination with relevant departments, Department of engineering materials linking is the technical one in this management and  the only which is active in the administrative of such affectivity
