SURVEILLANCE CAMERS IN THE WAREHOUSE OF ZUBAIR 1

          The Technical and Information Systems Department has been assigned to set up surveillance cameras in the warehouse of Zubair 1 as a first stage followed by the rest of the company's sites, Within the security project of South Oil Company. Oil Magazine existed in the work site and had a meeting with Mr. Ali Salman Ali a chief engineer in the Technical and Information Systems Department and the team leader who said" for continuing the security control on the work sites and observing the movement inside and around the oil complexes , our department has been prepared to erect surveillance cameras in the work sites , in order to take advantage of the time factor in the face of the challenges which has represented in targeting a number of the oil facilities , an inventory has been made to the received cameras from a number of the former external contracts to make the most benefit of them and to shorten the time if an  external or local contract has been made .

It was god's blessing to start the first stage of the project in the warehouse of Zubair 1 on 27/09/2011 according to the guidance from the higher management in the company and with participation and the field supervision of the Technical and Information Systems Department manager ,  with self potentials about 12000 meters of signal wires and power connecting wires has been wired , and the work has been achieved on 23/10/2011 after the concerted efforts of the team to work late hours maybe extend to 7:00 P.M . This has been achieved financial surplus of fourteen million dinars in comparison with the lowest prices presented from the local contractors.

Oil Magazine met one of the team members Mr. Mazin Abdulkareem a chief engineer where he said "this work has been achieved according to the schedule and accuracy which consider as an achievement to the company to be proud of it and it opens a wide range in front of our staff who are working in this field to move forward in implementation of a similar works in the company.

While Mr. Tariq Jawdat Al-Badran a technical manager added" our company in this subject surpassed depending on the contractors in achieving works of an accuracy and sensitivity because it related  to the security and safety of the company's oil sites . This is through a combination of the activities in the company to provide support to the team through manufacturing caravans which needed to the monitoring teams and the unprecedented support from both the Transportation Directorate and the Engineering Directorate in providing a number of the equipments and machines which needed for transporting caravans and equipments for lifting people and providing the electric power . As well as it was useful the field presence of Dr. Selman Abdulrazzaaq the manager of the Technical and Information Systems Department in supervision and contribution in the work. As well as the continued support given by the director of the Technical Information and Communications directorate Mr. Ahmed Fadel Adhim .

It is worth mentioning that the team was present through all the commissioning period for times after the official working time and on Fridays and   the official holidays which produced the work in such excellent shape , despite the limited resources and it's being the first experiment for the company in this field .
